PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

 PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY OF SENIOR WING AT MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA

Mayoor School, Noida held its annual Prize Distribution Ceremony on  12-13th May 2017 for Classes VII-XI. It is that time of the year when we celebrate the success of the achievers and confer them with scholar and honour badges to appreciate their commitment and to motivate them to aim for higher goals.

The event began with the address by the CEO, Mrs. Sarita Madhok, who emphasized on the perfect synergy between parents and educators towards the common goal of seeing these children blossom into responsible and successful citizens. Students were given Scholar and Honours Badges by the CEO, Vice Principal, Head Mistress and School Coordinators.

The award ceremony was interspersed with cultural programme prepared by our students under the able guidance of their teachers. The school band presented a variety of percussion instruments along with tapping and thumping of feet and hands. The musical students presented a group song singing passionately about the River Brahmaputra. The budding actors of Mayoor presented a miming act on the problems caused by excessive use of mobile phones. The last presentation was the graceful Salsa with rhythmic movements and postures.

The event ended with a heartwarming Vote of Thanks proposed by Senior School Coordinator Mrs. Kanchan Ghose Chaudhuri. She emphasised the fact that Mayoor works as a family where Management, Administration, Parents, Teachers and students are equal stake holders.

 

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY OF MIDDLE WING AT MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA

Prize distribution ceremony for classes 5 and 6 of session 2016 – 17 was held on 11th may 2017 at Mayoor School, Noida. CEO, Ms Sarita Madhok delivered her welcome speech. She thanked parents for their constant support and read out the percentage of scholars, honours and all rounders of classes 5 and 6.

Cultural programs like melodious song and Pantomime stealed the show. The certificates and badges were awarded to students who were all rounders, scholars and honours by Mayoor School CEO, Vice Principal, Head Mistress and Coordinator, Middle school. The function came to an end with the Vote of thanks proposed by Coordinator, Middle School, Ms Sunita Dahiya.

 

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY OF PRIMARY WING AT MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA

Keeping alive the tradition of excellence, Mayoor School Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer held the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for classes I to IV(2016-17) from 2nd to 5th May 2017. The students were conferred with Scholar and Honour badges and certificates for their outstanding achievements.

The programme started with a pledge taken by C.E.O Mayoor School, Ms Sarita Madhok, along with parents, to protect the environment and safeguard the interests of the children. A spectacular cultural show was put up by the students. The little singers mesmerized the audience by singing a mellifluous song that addressed pollution and global warming. A scintillating dance extravaganza depicted dance forms of different states of India. A puppet show based on the Panchtantra tales, conveyed the moral, “Use one’s own intellect and avoid getting snared by conniving people.” The poem ‘Nine Gold Medals’ based on Paralympics games was a tribute to the spirit of sportsmanship. To celebrate Mother's Day and to show that mothers are an indispensable part of our lives, a beautiful rendition was presented by the choir. The ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks extended by the Primary Coordinator followed by the singing of the national anthem.

MAYOOR BIDS ADIEU TO CLASS - XII

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, bid farewell to the outgoing batch of class XII on 9th February 2017.

 The event started with a ramp walk by the smartly dressed class 12 students. Principal Mrs. Sarita Madhok, Vice Principal and teachers wished the students success in their upcoming board exams and blessed them for all their future endeavours.

 In a closely fought competition which comprised of both talent and question answer round, Palak Tripathi and B. Nitesh Choudhary of Class XII were declared Ms Mayoor and Mr Mayoor respectively amidst a lot of cheer.

The event concluded with cake cutting and sumptuous lunch served to the beautifully decked Mayoorians.

 





January 2017

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2017

Mayoor School, Noida which has collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer organised a cultural programme on Republic Day. The school reverberated with excitement and patriotism as members of the management, students and teachers gathered in the school amphitheatre and unfurled the National Flag.

The programme started with the address by Principal Mrs Sarita Madhok, who congratulated everyone on this 68th republic day. From instrumental music to speech to song and dance all events evoked the same emotion that filled us with pride and patriotism for our great nation. The celebration ended with National Anthem sung with energy and enthusiasm





December 2016

Adventure Camp - Class 2

A day Adventure Camp for Class 2 students was organised on 29th of December. Around 210 students participated in all the activities wholeheartedly and enthusiastically. Their excitement and happiness knew no bounds while performing all the activities under the guidance of their instructors. Their fear for some activities vanished within no time seeing their friends doing the same. These adventurous activities will surely make them a ‘Bravo’.

WINTER CARNIVAL AT MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA

Mayoor School, Noida which has a  collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer embraced the winter chill with great warmth and affection with the much awaited and sought after Carnival on Sunday, December 25, 2016. From exciting games to joy rides to sumptuous food to foot-tapping music...it was a plethora of activities.

With the united efforts of the Mayorial and the Faculty, each class had put up a stall with vibrant themes and decor which mesmerised everyone. Mayoor grounds was decked up with red and white balloons which were a visual feast and was brimming with joy and gaiety as it witnessed a thronging crowd full of excitement and enthusiasm.

The School Management presented a cheque to SETU, an NGO working for underprivileged students, for buying winter uniform. .The carnival came to a close with the Lucky Draw wherein the winners were awarded prizes courtesy the School Management.

MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA ORGANIZES SPORTS DAY  ON 17 & 18 of DECEMBER 2016

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer organised its annual sports meet on 17th & 18th of December 2016. The school reverberated with excitement, frenzy and a riot of colours with sports and cultural fiesta of the primary and the senior school in the school grounds.                                                  

 Mr Binod Kumar Singh, I.P.S, OSD to Home Minister was the Chief Guest for the primary sports day and Shri Ashok Sajjanhar, a former ambassador, was the Chief Guest for the senior sports day. The guest of honour on 18th was Shri. R.K.Rajendra Deo Singh, chairman collaboration committee, Mayo College General Council, Ajmer. He presented a special trophy to Mayoor School. The event saw 100% participation of the school students and the enclosures could be seen teeming with enthusiastic parents.

GRANDPARENTS DAY - 27TH NOVEMBER 2016

Mayoor School, Noida which has collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, celebrated Grandparents Day on 27th November 2016, to felicitate and honour the grandparents.

The chief guest on this occasion was Mr. Sai Krishna Rajgopal, an eminent lawyer of repute who has done path breaking work in the field of intellectual property rights and the special guest was the famous Radio Jockey Naved who spoke in his inimitable style and impressed the audience in his short and crisp speech. The occasion was graced by the eminent members of the eminent members of the management and other guests. The chief guest and the special guest both talked about the security, love and guidance that grandparents provide in abundance. The invaluable lessons of life that they can impart cannot be learnt in any school.

Welcoming the guests, the School Principal Mrs. Sarita Madhok expressed great happiness at organising such an event which provides a platform for the children to showcase their talent and express their love and affection for their doting grandparents.

A unique charm and exuberance prevailed in the school, through the cultural extravaganza titled –Life Is A Circus. The 100% participation by the little Mayoorians in various programmes, interspersed with music, dance and humourous skit succeeded in bringing smiles and entertaining the audience. It culminated with the vote of thanks by the Headmistress, Mrs. Sujata Tripathi. It was truly an unforgettable and enriching experience for everyone.

 SYNERGY 2016

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council Ajmer, hosted Synergy on 10th and 11th Nov ’2016. The School Principal, Mrs Sarita Madhok welcomed everyone to the annual event.  About 1400 students from more than 22 schools of Delhi and NCR participated in the event which was spread over two days. There were 26  different competitions like Dharti Ke Rang, Bazme Sufi, Master Chef Junior, Eureka-Science quiz, Window Styling, Western Dance to name a few.The highlight of the event was the excellent Bhangra dance presentation by the German students who visited Mayoor School for the 3rd Indo German exchange programme. The Valedictory Ceremony was held on 11th Nov ’16 in the School Amphitheatre The Rolling Trophy was bagged by Somerville School,Noida. The host school participated in all the events but did not compete for the Trophy.





October 2016

BATTLE OF TITANS- 2016

 

The school successfully hosted its sixth Two - day Inter School Computer Festival ‘Battle Of Titans – BOT’ on 25th and 26th October, 2016. These two days saw a participation of over 700 future technocrats from 32 reputed schools of Delhi and NCR. The event commenced with a befitting Opening Ceremony wherein the Principal, Mrs. Sarita Madhok, extended a warm welcome to all the participants and advised them to make ethical use of technology.

The event comprised of 18 challenging competitions for all age groups, testing various skill-set among the students like Quiz, Robotics, Music Mixing, Digital Imaging in Photoshop, Video editing, Group Discussion, Banner Making, E-Canvas, Photography, Flash Animation, Gaming. The events stimulated student’s creative faculties, logical thinking and presentation skills.  The events were judged by eminent personalities from the IT field.

The computer fest concluded with the Prize Distribution ceremony in the august presence of esteemed members of Management, Staff and Students. The efforts of the students were applauded and the winners were felicitated with prizes, trophies and certificates. The most coveted ‘Overall Trophy’ was bagged by the tech savvy champions of Somerville School, Noida. Ms. Sheetal Mittal, HOD computer Science thanked everyone for making this event a big success. The fest came to a close with the rendition of National Anthem.

TEACHER’S DAY AT MAYOOR

Teacher’s day was celebrated with much pomp and gaity at Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer. The day started with a bonanza of Cultural programmes presented by the students for their teachers. The students danced to the tune of popular music and organized a  humorous skit  based on the life of   Sheikh Chili . Later on in the day, teachers from both the Primary and the Senior wings went to Spice Mall to watch the movie ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ followed by a sumptuous lunch at Haldiram courtesy Mayoor Management. To sum up, it was a day filled with fun and frolic and everyone enjoyed to the hilt.

MAYOOR APPOINTS FUTURE LEADERS ,FELICITATES ACHIEVERS

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council Ajmer, held theInvestiture & Prize Distribution Ceremony on 3rd September 2016. The event began with ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Lalotra, eminent members of the Management, Principal,  Vice Principal,  and Head Mistress followed by an inspiring speech by the Principal ,Mrs.SaritaMadhok.

The achievers were conferred with scholar and honoursblazers to appreciate their commitment and motivate them to aim for higher goals.The new student council was inducted in the excitingceremony.NileshChetwani,Tarini Jain and Chayanika Roy were appointed as the Head Boy, Head Girl and the President, Student Council respectively.

MAYOOR SCHOOL , NOIDA CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY

With the fragrance of patriotism in the air, Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer, celebrated the 70th Independence Day  on 15th August 2016 with zeal and enthusiasm. The tricolor was hoisted by the Chairman of the school Mr Rehman Elahi, the Director Mr Rehan Elahi and  other members of the management, Principal and Vice Principal. The Principal, Mrs. Madhok, in her inspiring short speech advised  students to be more committed and do their bit to serve the country.

The programme consisted of singing of patriotic songs rendered by the  students and teachers present on the occasion. Altogether the day was a reminiscence of the past and the rendezvous with the present.

MAYOOR FELICITATES THE PRIZE HOLDERS (SENIOR)

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer held the prize distribution ceremony for classes VII to XI on 14th May 2016. The scholars of last session (2015-2016) were conferred with badges and certificates for their outstanding achievements in curricular and co-curricular activities. Parents andGrandparents were invited to witness this moment of success. The principal, Ms. Sarita Madhok addressed the gathering and congratulated the parents for the success of their children. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Kanchan Ghose Chaudhari.

 PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY(MIDDLE)

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer organized the Prize Distribution Ceremony (2015-2016) for middle school classes V and VI on 13 May 2016. Mrs. Sarita Madhok, Principal , Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, Vice Principal and Mrs. Sujata Tripathi, Headmistress of the School were the Chief guests.Proud parents of the recipients of the awardees were also invited to witness this momentous event.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Sunita Dahiya, Coordinator of the middle school. 

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY OF PRIMARY WING

The prize distribution ceremony of classes II, III, IV & V was held on 5th, 6th and 7th May respectively. The scholars of last session (2015-2016) were conferred with badges and certificates for their outstanding achievements in curricular and co-curricular activities. Parents and grandparents were invited to witness this moment of success. ‘Environment and nature’ were chosen as the theme of the entire programme. The principal, Ms. Sarita Madhok addressed the gathering and congratulated the parents for the success of their children. Later, along with the parents and teachers, she took the pledge to protect the environment and nature and also nurture our children. The cultural programme put up by the students during the whole event left the audience spell bound. The little singers mesmerized the audience by singing a melodious and joyful song. Class IV & V devoted a song to mothers. Children of classes II and III enacted like monkeys and impressed the audience with their breathtaking dance moves. Class IV & V put up an enthralling fusion dance. The highlight of the show was a glimpse of shadow puppetry, being conducted for the first time in Mayoor. It depicted the life of Earth thereby conveying an important message of saving and protecting the environment. It was an incredible display of maneuver and technique on the part of students. The ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks by the Primary Coordinator Ms. Suman Aswal.

Holi Celebration at KG Block

Rang Utsav-An Incredible Holi festival of colours was celebrated at the KG block on 23.03.16. The entire block donned a colourful look which reflected the colours that spring brings to our environment.

The vibrant hues of the festoons and the indelible impressions of tiny hands of Nursery Children on a white sheet and Kindergarten Children on handkerchief gave a colourful aura to the school.

It was a fun filled day on which the children savoured Gujia and sang rhymes on Holi.

It added joy and fervor in young minds.

The Orientation day programme for parents of class- Nursery A,B and C was organized at Mayoor school on 14.03.16.

It was presided by the the Principal , Vice Principal ,Headmistress ,Coordinators, Administrator and Transport in charge.

The Principal, Ms.Sarita Madhok  welcomed the new parents to the Mayoor family and apprised them about the ethos and methodology followed in the school .She emphasized on the importance of mutual cooperation and endeavors of the school and parents in nurturing  the child.

The highlight of the day was a vibrant dance which kept the audience mesmerized and the “cherished moments” of the session 2015-2016, shared by the children.

It concluded with the insightful message by the Headmistress, Ms. Sujata Tripathi. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Ms. Paramjeet Kaur.  It ended  on a high note, charging everyone with enthusiasm.

GRADUATION CEREMONY AT MAYOOR

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer organized Graduation ceremony of class V. Students of class IV sang a song reminiscing the period spent by class V in the primary block. A medley of dance and a short skit was performed portraying the anxiety of transition from class V to VI.  All the students of class IV gave handmade paper flowers to class V as a gesture of good luck to start their new journey in middle school. Finally the teachers of classes IV and V gave an enthralling performance of dance on various songs. Overall the students enjoyed the show and looked forward to the new session in the senior school.

MAYOOR SKATERS ON THE GO

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer organized a skating event for primary block. The event began with a beautiful song sung by the school’s choir. Students of class II, III, IV and V performed various stunts and made beautiful formations on the song ‘Heel the world’ by Michael Jackson. Students gave the message of saving the world dressed in costumes showcasing the various elements of nature. The parents were overwhelmed to see their children showcasing their talent and skating skills. Overall the show was successful and entertaining. 

MAYOOR SCHOOL, NOIDA CELEBRATES GRANDPARENTS DAY

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer celebrated Grandparents day on 6th February ’16 with lots of fun and frolic. More than five hundred students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery and KG performed on various foot tapping numbers and made their teachers, parents and most importantly grandparents proud of them. The event celebrated the beautiful bond shared between grandparents and their grandchildren. This year’s theme for the celebration was The Child in Us.

MAYOOR BIDS FAREWELL TO CLASS - XII

The chief guest of the event was Mr. Ajay Choudhary, IPS, posted as Officer on Special Duty with Lt. Governor of Delhi. The event was grand with the presence of many eminent personalities and the school management.Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer bid adieu to the Class XII batch of 2016 on 1st February. A bright and sunny day awaited the students who had turned out in their best attires. The host students of Class XI had put together the entire event with a lot of care and thought to make this a memorable day for their seniors.

The principal, Mrs. Sarita Madhok, wished them luck and gave them tips for the forthcoming board exams.

Republic Day Celebrations at Mayoor

 

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer celebrated the 67th Republic Day with great pomp and show. Amidst colourful celebrations , the tone was set by the song ‘Padharo Hamare Desh’ followed by a speech highlighting the importance of the Republic day. The patriotic fervour was brought forth through a skit and an English poem. The programme concluded with a vibrant dance on ‘Vande Matram’.

Sports Meet for Maintenance staff 

Mayoor School, Noida which has a collaboration with Mayo College General Council, Ajmer held its second Sports Meet for Maintenance staff on 5 January, 2016 which was a grand and the much awaited event.
The day began with a session on Yoga under the supervision of the Yoga Instructor. The opening ceremony was graced by the Principal Ms. Sarita Madhok and the Headmistress. The principal officially declared the sports meet open by releasing balloons after giving a motivational speech. 
The meet comprised of various sports events. The event began with 100 metres race for men. A tug of war and a musical chairs for both men and women followed the races. All the participants participated in the events with great zeal and enthusiasm. Prizes were given away to participants excelling in various games. Cultural activities like songs and a play were organized by the staff members. The school administrator, Mr. Bijender Singh emphasized to keep the campus and the surroundings clean and not to use polybags in keeping with the Swachh Bharat Campaign.
