Evaluation and assessment plan ( 2017-18) as per latest CBSE examination scheme for classes IV-VIII

 

Important points:-

1.       Periodic tests will be held on Monday and Thursday as per the schedule given in almanac.

2.       Entire session is divided into two terms .

3.       Final Evaluation will be done on the basis of student’s performance in Term – I and Term – II

4.       Weightage of Half-Yearly and Annual Exam is 80% and Periodic Assessment is 20%.

5.       Periodic Assessment breakup :-

(a)   Periodic test  - Weightage of periodic test is 10 marks

(b)  Notebook maintenance – 5 marks

Notebook maintenance will be evaluated based on–

§  Regularity

§  Assignment completion

§  Neatness & upkeep of notebooks

(c)    Subject enrichment activities - 5 marks

Subject Enrichment Activities comprises of various techniques like Reading/ Dictation/ Debate/Public Speaking etc. for language, Lab Activities/ Projects/ Map Work/ Model Making / Field trips etc.
