Synergy 2020: Inter School Extravaganza

Mayoor School hosts Annual Inter- School Fest - Synergy 2020

Mayoor School, Noida which has collaboration with Mayo College General Council Ajmer hosted Synergy on 19 December 2020 through digital platform. It was an aura of colour, zest and rhythm at the exhilarating event that celebrated the spirit of creativity and expression comprised of a myriad of activities. The mega event witnessed humongous participation of over 700 students from 33 eminent schools from all over India. A potpourri of activities ranging from art, cultural, mathematics, science & theatre like – Mad Ad Magic, Mathartem, DhwaniTarang, Sustainable Endorsement, In-Sync, A Battle of Wills among others enthralled the large audience that witnessed the event live digitally from the comfort of their homes.

The event commenced with invoking lord’s blessings through lighting of ceremonial lamp followed by an enchanting musical rendition highlighting our united resolve in the unusual times that touched the musical chord of one and all. The digital event also included a graceful fusion of classical and western dance forms all performed individually by the students from the comfort of their homes and edited into a seamless presentation.

The Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi in her address welcomed one and all for the enthusiastic participation and reiterated the urge for the unquenchable thirst for knowledge exuding creativity, curiosity and passion. She reiterated the need for students to recognise and intercept competition with confidence, poise and preparedness.

The Chief Guest of the day, Mr. ArunPandeya, General Manager and Country Head, Air Canada in his address applauded the enthusiastic display of creative energies and unbridled imagination. He also congratulated the host school for organising such symposium of events brimming with energy and excitement for students to engage in a healthy competition.

The event was also graced by Guest of Honour, Ms. Nadira Hamid, CEO, Indo Canadian Business Chamber who commended the extravaganza and applauded the school for displaying impeccable credentials in academics and co-curricular activities. She also reiterated the fact that each child is unique in his skills and talents and that passionate pursuit of excellence leads to certain success.

The Rolling Trophy was bagged by Bal Bharati Public School, Noida. The host school participated in all the events but did not compete for the Trophy upholding the tradition. The school’s efforts in organising a resplendent mega event were lauded by one and all.
