In keeping with the tradition of providing a perfect platform for the students to showcase their technical soundness and creative innovations, Mayoor School, Noida successfully hosted the 10th Inter- School Tech-Fest, ‘Battle of Titans – BOT’ on July 24, 2021 on the virtual platform accentuating the undeterred spirit of our educational ecosystem in the wake of the pandemic. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Colonel Inderjeet Singh who is the Chief Cyber Security Officer and Head of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence.

The exhilarating mega event which saw a participation of over 500 future technocrats from 40 reputed schools from PAN India commenced with a befitting opening ceremony where in Principal, Mrs. Alka Awasthi, extended a warm welcome to all the computer wizards and underlined how computer ethics influence areas of study such as artificial intelligence and human communication pertinent in today’s curriculum.

In his address, the distinguished Chief Guest commended the Principal as a pedagogical leader and lauded the host school’s initiative for holding the spectacular show. He also stated that such stimulating events kindle student’s creative faculties, logical thinking and presentation skills.

The IT fest which aimed at testing the various skillsets of the students comprised of seven challenging competitions for all age groups like Cinematics, Twilight Zone, Tech frenzy, Algo–bric, Interact App, Digitify and Technomania 2050 and witnessed the young enthusiasts coming together on this magnificent platform to prove their mettle at the vanguard of technical competition defying the challenging times. The jury which comprised of a galaxy of eminent personalities with rich expertise in the IT field adjudged the various events online. Mayoor School, Noida had bagged most of the positions, but as per the policy pronounced by the host school of not competing for the trophy, the most coveted ‘Rolling Trophy’ was given to the tech savvy champions of Somerville School, Noida. The Fest concluded with a reverberating instrumental recital by budding musicians of Mayoor who created the most profound effect of rhythm on various instruments and filled the ambience with positivity.

Thanking everyone for making this computer festoon a spectacular success, Vice-Principal, Ms. Sunita Dahiya proposed the Vote of Thanks and congratulated all the participants for their enthusiastic participation.
