"WireX" Project Highlights Innovation at National CBSE Summit
Mayoor School, Noida proudly showcased its commitment to innovation and sustainability at the prestigious Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2025, organised by CBSE on July 29, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event was inaugurated by Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and attended by key education stakeholders.
The project titled, “WireX – Recycle of Old Copper Wires,” developed by class XII students focused on "Sustainable Practices and E-Waste Management," and was specifically selected by CBSE for exhibition. This recognition highlights the school's dedication to NEP 2020's vision for sustainable education.
Students presented their eco-friendly e-waste solution to esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj (Controller of Examinations, CBSE) and Dr. Praggya M. Singh (Joint Secretary, Academics CBSE), who lauded the model's innovation and real-world application.
