Affiliation To Mayo College

Mayoor School, Noida has grown from the roots of Mayo College and is the first franchise of Mayo College General Council, Ajmer. The 145 years old Mayo College was founded to ensure that the sons of the aristocracy of India, received a liberal and enlightened education to enable them to keep pace with the ever-advancing spirit of the times. Known as the ETON OF THE EAST, Mayo was under the management of the Government of India until 1931.

Thereafter, the control was handed over to the General Council of the College and since 1947, the College is open, without restriction, to all those who wish for a boarding school education for their boys.

Though vast changes in all spheres have taken place to keep pace with changing times, the essence’ of Mayo has never changed. As a tribute to the very origin of this institution, the old boys of the school are active in every sphere of life: Industry, Agriculture, Education, Engineering, Politics, Journalism, Computers, Business Management and a host of other professions.
