A Poster Designing and Slogan Writing Competition was organised by MCGC, Ajmer to commemorate World Environment Day for all Mayoor Schools in India and abroad.
The theme for this year was - Solutions to Plastic Pollution. The creative and imaginative green warriors of Mayoor School, Noida made brilliant posters. Ayaana Wali of class IX, was chosen as the best entry and she secured first position. Avneey Rawat, class VIII, got consolation prize amongst the best entries sent by all collaborative schools. They were felicitated in an online session where their posters were praised by everyone.

Leaping into the new year with agility
It is an array of achievements and laurels galore that energetic gymnast Hiya Singh of class VIII has brought. The year saw Hiya acing every championship she participated in, from winning a Gold medal in Inter-Academy Gymnastic Tournament Delhi-NCR, and securing the First position, Meerut Range, at Women Gymanstics Championship, organised by the Directorate of Sports, UP Govt. She proved her mettle at the UP State Women Gymnastics Championship by clinching the Silver medal for Floor event, and Bronze medal for Vault event.
Our star gymnast qualified for Junior National Gymnastics Championship organized by National Gymnastics Association, and in a perfect close to a perfectly rewarding year, she will be representing UP state in Junior National Games scheduled from 30th Dec 2022- 3rd January 2023 in Trivandrum.

The Colours of Victory
This world is but a canvas to our imagination. Artistic Avneey Rawat of class VII bore testimony to this adage and added another feather in the cap by winning the first consolation prize in On-the-Spot State Level Painting Competition under the aegis of National Campaign on Energy Conservation organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. The prestigious event saw participation of over 7 lakh students, and Avneey was among the 50 students who were shortlisted for the competition. She was awarded Rs 7,500 cash prize and Rs 2,000 for qualifying, along with gifts worth Rs 3,000.
Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi, congratulated the young artist and encouraged her to continue wielding magic through her artwork.
Mesmerizing Mayoorians Dazzle at MAYOOR MAHOTSAVA
25 students of Mayoor School, Noida brought huge laurels by bagging the Overall Winner Trophy at the Inter School Fest, Mayoor Mahotsav organized by Mayoor School, Ajmer on 20 August 2022.
The keenly-contested event which aimed at promoting the innate talent and creativity of our future generation witnessed more than 125 contestants representing the collaboration schools from around the world participate with great zeal and zest in all the eight challenging competitions-In Leaflet Designing, Moviemaking and Nukkad Natak, the meritorious Mayoorians won the First positon whereas they were declared the first runners-up in Taal Kacheri and Fable Fusion. Having proved their mettle in most of the events, participants of Mayoor Noida were greatly lauded by the judges and declared the overall winner of the fest for their commendable performances.

In continuation with the tradition of upholding excellence in innovation, a team of three meritorious Mayoorians, Yash Bhargava, Arjun Singh and Kartik Rajput of class XI brought huge laurels to Mayoor School, Noida by getting selected for the final round of TOYCATHON 2021, an inter-ministerial initiative organized by the Ministry of Education under the ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ started by our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi.
Keeping with the ongoing initiative to promote manufacturing of indigenous toys, the students have come up with a fun-filled, competitive and knowledgeable online game- MythoGenZ which is based on the classical Epic- Mahabharata and will help the young generation to gain knowledge about their culture through the digital platform.
With this achievement, two teams of Mayoor have qualified the first phase of Toycathon 2021and will get an opportunity to showcase their ingenious inventions during the ‘India Toy Fair’. Mayoorian wins Prestigious National Astro Video Podcast Competition
Talented Divyam Jindal of VIII E brought laurels to Mayoor School, Noida by winning the Second Prize for the Most Creative Video in the prestigious National Astro video Podcast Competition – 2019 organised by SPACE India. The budding young astronomer was greatly appreciated for his innovative video on India in Space Age by 2050 and has been awarded with a trophy, a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of Rupees two thousand one hundred.

We are on the progressive way to focus on the key areas for Swachh Survekshan 2020 to undertake projects for e.g to collect and segregate waste and maintain till processing site ,utilize capacity of wet processing facilities, treat and re-use waste water, curtail solid waste based Air Pollution, follow three principles – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle etc. The students have taken a pledge to put their best foot forward in doing their bit for a healthy and clean India.
Sanya Singh Wins Gold Medal in Shooting
Sanya Singh, X I , won Gold medal in Clay Pigeon Double Trap Shooting (NR) in the 39th North Zone Championship in Shotgun (NR) & ISSF held in New Delhi from 9 to 20 October 2019. She won Gold medal in both junior and senior category.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi congratulated the ace shooter for achieving such a feat and blessed her to reach greater heights with precision and accuracy.
Mayoorian, Shashwat Pundir, Brings Laurels to Mayoor
Shashwat Pundir of class XI D has been awarded the First Prize in the Photography Competition organized by the Wildlife Preservation Society, Dehradun, on the occasion of Wildlife Week. Shashwat had beautifully captured the exotic bird, Northern Pintail (biological name-Anas acuta) with his camera and the exquisite photograph adorned the inner front cover of the Official Journal published by the Wildlife Preservation Society. Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi congratulated the budding photographer and blessed him to achieve greater success.
Winning Accolades in Inter-School IT Fest
Anshul Rastogi & Ali Rizvi (XII C) secured II Position in Web Designing and Yash Vats & Shaurya Tomar (XII G) secured III Position in Movie Making in Inter-School Competition “Incognito 2019” organised by Somerville School, Noida on 21-22 May 2019 where around 700 students from 30 schools participated in different IT related events. Mayoorians bagged the overall second position in the 2nd Yoga Championship by winning 1 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals held at Presidium School, Noida on11 May 2019 wherein 250 students from 15 schools of NCR and Delhi had participated.

Awards and Accolades at ‘Think Summit’, DPS, R.K. Puram
In an Inter School event organized by DPS RK Puram, New Delhi on 24th November 2018, a team of two students Ishaan Sai of Class XI F and Cheryl Kanungo of Class XI D won the Second Position in Confabulation activity leaving behind 27 reputed schools of Delhi and NCR. A Cricket Tour to New Zealand
Mayoor School proudly shares the achievement of three budding cricketers of Class XI, Harshil Arora, Sahil Chauhan and Md. Sadiq Laeeq, who were selected for a cricket tour to New Zealand from 25th October to 6th November 2018. After rigorous trial sessions they were selected amongst more than sixty cricket enthusiasts from Delhi-NCR. They went to Auckland and played matches against the leading schools and clubs there winning the most crucial and prestigious match against the towering team of Kings College, Auckland. Mayoor adds another Acheivement ot its Tally
Mayoor School, Noida proudly celebrates the achievement if its students at S.N. Ganju Memorial Interschool English Debate organized by Vishwa Bharti Public School, Noida on 31 October 2018 wherein SwatantraChakraborty and ChaitriSengar was adjudged the best team and awarded the coveted Rolling Trophy. SwatantraChakraborty was awarded the Best Speaker Prize in ‘For’ the motion. Aditi brings laurels in basketball
Aditi Kaicker of class X won a Silver Medal at the ‘19th U.P. State Youth Basketball Championship’ organized by the District Basketball Association at Meerut from 22nd to 26th June 2018. She followed it up with a Gold Medal at the ‘Rising 3 on 3 Invitational Basketball Championship’ organized by BAVM Academy, recognized by the District Basketball Association and held at Noida Stadium on 4th and 5th August 2018.

NSO Results for 2020-2021 for classes I to V
Students of classes I to V have performed very well in the NSO exams held in January 2021.
From class I, Soha Ahmed, Tanishi Seth and Vidhaan Singh received Gold Medals of Excellence.
Class II received 5 Gold Medals of Excellence and 2 Medals of Distinction. Yash Vardan Garg, Advit Singh Chauhan, Dhruv Butani, Mohammed Ali Khan, R. Sai Shubankar won Gold Medals of Excellence. Sharnya Singh and Fatima Naaz received Medals of Distinction.
Class III had an overall haul of 5 Gold Medals of Excellence and 5 Medals of Distinction. Timaan Joshi, Agrim Srivastava, Fatima Noor, Vedika Bhardwaj and Arghya Srivastava won Gold Medals of Excellence. Medals of Distinction were received by Daksha Soni, Bhrithi Phougat and Daksh Mehta. Ayaan Shadab and Atharv Gupta also got gifts worth Rs. 500 each. Ayanna Malhotra made us proud by winning Gifts worth Rs. 1000/- + International Silver Medal + Certificate of Outstanding Performance. IMO Results for 2020-2021 for classes I to V
In IMO exams held in December 2020, students of classes I to V achieved outstanding results.
From class I, 5 students have won the Gold Medals of Excellence. They are Adya Aggarwal, Paian Jain, Daksh Asati, Aaradhya Pathak and Aamina Fatima.
From class II – 8 students bagged the Gold medals of Excellence and 2 received the Medals of Distinction. Md.Ali Khan, Ekagra Mahajan, Hridaan Verma, Vihaan Garg, Anishka Bansal, Saanidhya Singh Bora, Reeyansh Pareek and Shreyan Sharma bagged the Gold Medals of Excellence whereas Yash Vardhan Garg and Md.Shaad Siddiqui won Medals of Distinction.
The 7 Class III students who received Gold Medals of Excellence are Saurish Singh, Shonit Gupta, Arshleen Kaur, Manha Husain, Aashir Rahman, Agrim Srivastava and Atharv Yadav. Medals of Distinction were won by Ridhima Arora, Adhya Srivastava and Daksh Mehta. Gifts Worth Rs. 500/- + Medal of Distinction + Certificate of Distinction was given to Ayaan Shadab, Nabeel Kashif and Atharv Gupta. Students of classes I to V have performed brilliantly in the IEO exams held in November 2020. From class I, 5 students have won the Gold Medal of Excellence and 4 have got the Medal of Distinction. Manvik Tulshyan also received gifts worth Rs. 500. 6 students of class II bagged the Gold medal of Excellence and one received the Medal of Distinction. Inter School Competition at Indus Valley Public School
Budding talents of our school were fortunate to participate in ‘Insight-2020-2021,’ an online Interschool Competition hosted by Indus Valley Public School, Noida. Held on 29th August 2020 , three students-Evan Kashif(I D),Aradhya Singh(III-B) and Aadya Bhardwaj(V E) not only participated but won laurels for our school. While Evan Kashif won the 2nd prize for 'Weave Your Imagination,' Aradhya Singh won the 1st prize for 'Aao Kissa Sunayen' and Aadya Bhardwaj secured the 1st prize for 'Through the Lens.' Overall the competition was a great learning experience for the students wherein they could show their creativity and talent.

Aratrika Srivastava, a student of Mayoor School Noida, has achieved remarkable success by being selected as one of the 30 participants from a pool of 2000 applicants nationwide for the prestigious "Anastomosis" Boot Camp at IIT Delhi and AIIMS Delhi.
Aratrika's experience at both IIT and AIIMS was described as a dream come true, where she gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship through numerous seminars at IIT. Eloquent Ishan Anand of class XII brought huge laurels to Mayoor School, Noida by winning the best Debater Award in Osborn's Table (Open Table Discussion) conducted by Millennium School, Noida on 31 August 2021. The exhilarating competition witnessed participants from all over India express their views on the topic, ‘Web Series is a Virtual Mirage that blurs the Viewer’s Vision’- absolutely pertinent in today’s world of façade and fraudulency. Ishan outsmarted all the other contestants with his articulation and oratory skills and bagged the coveted title.

Mayoor becomes an agent of Change towards the Fulfilment of SDGS
In recognition of its constant commitment towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals laid by the United Nations, Mayoor School, Noida has been declared a certified member of the Global School Program, an initiative led by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth Initiative (SDSN Youth) in support of UNESCO’s Global Action Program on Education for Sustainable Development (GAP-ESD).

IEO Result 2020
Meritorious Mayoorians have once again made us proud with their outstanding performance in IEO Examination held in the month of November. Banat Singh and Aditya Das of Class VIII have brought laurels to the school by bagging the Second International Rank. They have been conferred with a gift worth Rs.1000 and International Silver Medal. Following the trail, Vatsal Gupta of Class VIII and Ayaana Wali of Class VI have won a gift worth Rs.1000 along with a Zonal Silver and Zonal Bronze Medal respectively. Overall 19 students have been awarded with Gold Medal of Distinction and 7 with Medal of Distinction. Kudos to the achievers for their outstanding performance.

A poetry writing and recitation competition was organized by BLUB WORLD TEENAGE TUNES– Online Open Mic for Teen Poets on February 12, 2021 for classes VI- VIII students.. Beauty is the realm of the poetry carrying forth the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings and rhythm. Through the digital platform, Mayoor teen poets enthralled the audience with their articulation while reciting their self-composed poems competing amongst the little poets all across the country. Archish Banerjee of Class VIII bagged second position and Aanya Singh of Class VI and Gurjas Singh Chadha of Class VII were declared the second runner-up.

Mayoorian outshines in Online Poetry Recitation Challenge
Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings; it takes its origin from emotions recollected in tranquility.
Talented Mayoorian, Dhwani Anand of VI C brought laurels to Mayoor School Noida by securing the second position in Online Poetry Recitation Challenge in the Under 12 age category. She was also awarded a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize. The event held, on 26 July 2020, was organised by MELIO and witnessed about 190 students from India and abroad participating in four different age categories.
Proudly reciting her self-composed poem Every Dark Cloud Has A Silver Lining, the budding poetess qualified the first round of the challenge beating nearly 50 participants in her category. She was among the top 5 finalist securing her position among participants from various renowned schools in India and abroad. Emphasising the need to embrace positivity and optimism in these testing times, Dhwani, mesmerised everyone watching the competition on the digital platform.

To celebrate the success of class XI students who have passed class X board exams with flying colours, Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi met the excited teenagers on the digital platform on 20 July 2020 and applauded them for bringing huge laurels to Mayoor School, Noida.
Ms Awasthi congratulated the Mayoorians for their commendable achievement and advised them to remain grateful to their parents and teachers for their incessant efforts and unwavering support.
Expounding the ethos of success, she advised the students to utilise their time fruitfully and reach the pinnacle of success with commitment and perseverance. She also urged the students to stay away from social media and other distractions for another two years and focus on their studies to perform well in class XII. Aware of the anxiety and uncertainty faced by everyone during these testing times, Principal Ma’am suggested the adolescents to take care of their mental and physical health by doing exercises and channeling their energy in a positive way.

It is rightly said that for effective extempore speaking, a participant must be fluent, erudite and articulate.
This was proved correct by Mayoorians when they brought huge laurels to Mayoor School, Noida by winning several prizes in the virtual Inter-School Extempore Competition held at Jagran Public School on 11 July 2020.
Stealing the stage with their outstanding performances, Yatharth Soni (VIII) and Poorti Marwah (VII) bagged the first and third positions respectively in category B whereas, in category C, Afreen Khan (X) and Tanvee Maheshwari (IX) won the first and third positions respectively. Nimisha Pandey (XII) added to the kitty by securing the third position in category D.
The overall trophy was won by the Mayoorians because of their spectacular presentation which mesmerised everyone witnessing the competition on the digital platform.

Mayoorians Win Laurels at Commerce Quiz
On 29 June 2020, ten talented students of classes XI and XII of Mayoor School, Noida qualified the prestigious Commerce Quiz organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which witnessed huge participation from all over India. Ishan Anand (XI), Shreya Rohatgi (XI), Gauranshi Sharma (XI), Kunal Chauhan (XI), Shashwat Gupta (XI), Vedika Goel (XI), Shubhi Tandon (XII), Kunjal Agarwal (XII), Shivani Lath (XII) and Navya Gupta (XII) were awarded Appreciation Certificates for their commendable performances. Also, Ishan Anand and Shubhi Tandon received cash prizes of Rs 1500 and Rs 1000 respectively.

Mayoorian Achieves Success in NTSE Stage-1 Exam
Meritorious Chinmay Vaidya of X G has successfully cleared the prestigious NTSE Stage-1 exam conducted by CBSE and has become eligible to appear for the stage 2 exam which will be conducted on May 10, 2020. An estimated 9,00,000-10,00,000 students of Class X appeared for the prestigious NTSE 2020 scholarship exam, and only a fraction of them could clear the stage1.

Deeptansh Sharma of XI C has brought huge laurels to Mayoor School, Noida by successfully clearing the final round of KISHORE VAIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJANA-2019. He will be awarded scholarships worth Rs. 80,000 per year for B.Sc. and Rs. 1,04, 000 per year for M.Sc. and PhD as per UGC norms. Mayoor Team Wins in CBSE Regional Science Exhibition
The budding scientists Rushil Goyal of class 8 and Arnika Singhal of class 9, won at the regional level and got selected for participating in the CBSE National Level Science Exhibition for their innovative project ‘Aqua Green Home’. These meritorious students of Mayoor School Noida had got the golden opportunity to participate in the regional round of Science Exhibition 2019-20, held at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhra, Ghaziabad on 29 and 30 November 2019.
The event witnessed a participation of around 88 leading schools from across the state showcasing 128 wonderful exhibits under seven subthemes. Two teams, each consisting of two students, from Mayoor displayed their projects, ‘Aqua Green Home’ and ‘Asha- a hope for differently-abled’on the sub-themes Resource Management and Health and Cleanliness respectively.The project on Aqua Green Home illustrated the conservation of the three basic necessities-water, land and energy. The exhibit ‘Asha’ is devised to help blind and mute people by using glasses that work on sensing the eye blink.
It was a great learning experience for the teams as they got a chance to interact with the other participants and broadened their horizons. Both the exhibits were shortlisted for the second round and deeply appreciated by the worthy judges of this prestigious science exhibition and one was selected for the national round.
Congratulating the young science enthusiasts, Principal, Ms. AlkaAwasthi extolled their efforts and urged them to keep the flame of inquisitiveness alive and achieve greater accomplishments in future. She wished them all the best for their upcoming participation in CBSE National level of the Science Exhibition.
Budding Environmentalist Wins Prestigious Government Scholarship
Budding environmentalist, Divyam Jindal of class VIII won the prestigious scholarship of Rs. 10000/- under INSPIRE awards – MANAK scheme, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and brought loads of laurels to Mayoor.
Bright and imaginative, Divyam was selected for his innovative idea of “Electronic Water Softener”, a novel and unique project that encapsulates social applicability, environment friendliness and comparative advantage over the existing similar technologies. Moved by the water crisis witnessed by various states during summer months, he deeply reflected upon the scarcity of water and alarming depletion of its sources. He pondered over ways of safeguarding the existence of future generations and came up with his unique solution.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi lauded the efforts of the young, green crusader and blessed him to continue generating ideas that will be the harbinger of change. She also urged astute Mayoorians to carry forward the legacy of their alma-mater.
Mayoorians Win Success at Online IT Competition
Tech-Savvy Mayoorians, Yatharth Soni, Parv Maheshwari, Modh. Arquam, and Taha Ashar bagged the First position in E_ Brochure by showcasing their digital skills whereas IT aficionados, M. Pratyush, Bhuvi Chadha, Mehak Vaid and Ria Sharma proved their mettle by securing the Second Position in Movie Making in Online IT Competition on the topic ‘One World One Dream----Peace’ organized by Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar in the month of October.

Pavani Malhotra Wins German Scholarship
Pavani Malhotra, student of class X, has won the PAD (Pedagogical Exchange Services, Germany) scholarship offered by Goethe-Institute (Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi). She will be attending a two-week German language course in Germany and will be staying with host families while attending the classes. During her stay, she will be taken for a city tour by the hosts. She will also visit neighbouring cities along with other PAD scholarship recipients from around the world. This distinctive opportunity will give her first-hand experience of German life and culture, and improve her German language skills at the same time. Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi congratulated Pavani for winning such a prestigious scholarship and blessed her for more such success in future.

German language student, Medansh Kapoor of class VI bagged the Second Position in the Wer bin ich (Who am I) in Inter- School competition organized by Cambridge School, Noida on 26th April 2019. He depicted one of the famous personalities of Germany. He was awarded with a certificate and a prize.
Creativity at Display at Odyssey of minds..
Mayoor School, Noida participated in Odyssey of the Mind, a creative “Problem Solving Program” that exposes students to variety of science, maths and arts subjects while having fun in the process. After winning at the Regional Level, the team of five students Ishan, Ananaya ,Iba, Vishi and Zunaria represented school at Eurofest 2019 at St.Petersburg, Russia from 27th April to 29th April 2019 doing exceedingly well in problem solving, mechanical engineering and theatrical skits. The team brought laurels to the school by bagging III position in the international competition. The entire event was a great learning experience both for the students and the coaches alike.

Mayoor School, Noida conducted an aptitude test –School Super League for Classes III-IX in association with The Times Group. Two Students – Ansh Chadha of Class V and Amaan Khan of Class IX emerged as school toppers and were awarded with a Lenovo tablet and a backpack. The school toppers qualified for the next round of competition. Amongst others were Aditya Joshi Class IV, Drishti Sachdev Class VI, Vitthal Agarwal Class VII and Ananya Arya Class VIII who topped the school chart leaving behind all their peers. ACHIEVEMENTS (2020-21)
Shonit of Class III B bagged the Gold medal in Shooting Competition held on 16th January 2021. It was 10m Air Pistol under 10 years category in All India Open Shooting Championship held in Meerut. Shonit was competing with 400 students in this category. We are really proud of his achievement.
Avneey Rawat of V H is an artist par excellence and a budding orator. She has made the school proud by winning accolades in several categories. As the list of awards is long, a few will be mentioned here to show us a glimpse of her many achievements.
Avneey won the first position at the national level in Product Package Designing held by Lil Goodness in Bangalore on 9th April 2020 and also in the poster making competition organized by Rashtria Kala Manch Wardha in Maharashtra on 15th May 2020 on the topic ‘Corona Se Bachao.’ She was the national level winner in the drawing competition by Himachal Migration on ‘Migratory fish’ held in Shimla on 16th May 2020. She also brought in the 1st prize at Poster making competition on ‘Tiger Day’ organized by Delhi Zoo (Ministry of Environment) on 27th July 2020 and the poster making competition on ‘Constitution Day’ held by National Science Centre (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India) on 20th Aug 2020.
Avneey has also collected several awards at the international level. She was adjudged the winner at a drawing competition related to corona virus organized by Alliance club, Singapore on 20th May 2020. She was the winner of the gold medal on poster making related to nature held by Dream Art World on 5th May 2020. She also won in poster making on ‘Unity in Diversity’ organized by Diversity Through Art, USA held on 29th July 2020. In the poster making competition by FAI (Aero Club of India) on ‘Flying Yesterday and Tomorrow’, held on 1st April 2020, she bagged the 3rd prize at the national level and her entry has been forwarded to Switzerland for the international level. She got the Certificate of Achievement for the drawing competition on ‘Space Universe’ held by Acrophilia, Sri Lanka on 17th July 2020. For her poster on ‘Give blood and save life’ organized by the UK Thalassemia Society (UKTS) on 4th June 2020, she was adjudged the 2nd winner at the international level.
The Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi congratulated her parents for the immense talent in the child. We are proud of her and know she will go from strength to strength.
Inter School Competition at Indus Valley Public School
Budding talents of our school were fortunate to participate in ‘Insight-2020-2021,’ an online Interschool Competition hosted by Indus Valley Public School, Noida. Held on 29th August 2020 , three students-Evan Kashif(I D),Aradhya Singh(III-B) and Aadya Bhardwaj(V E) not only participated but won laurels for our school. While Evan Kashif won the 2nd prize for 'Weave Your Imagination,' Aradhya Singh won the 1st prize for 'Aao Kissa Sunayen' and Aadya Bhardwaj secured the 1st prize for 'Through the Lens.' Overall the competition was a great learning experience for the students wherein they could show their creativity and talent.
ONLINE PAINTING COMPETITION
The Principal Ms Alka Awasthi congratulated her and appreciated her understanding of saving the environment.
WHITE CANVAS KIDS CONTEST
The online contest was held in month of May, in which more than 700 children from 24 cities participated in the contest. Our little mayoorian, Sargun Singh of class II-B, has made us proud by securing 3rd position in White Canvas Kids Contest – Instrumental. The little champ played the keyboard like a musician. Congratulations!
ACHIEVEMENTS (2019-20)
Apeejay School Art Competition
At the Art Competition held in Apeejay School, Noida on 4th and 5th December 2019, students of the Primary Wing brought laurels for the school. Aadya Raj of V F won the 3rd position in the 'Smt Rajeshwari Paul Kala Sangam tile painting competition' held on 4th Dec. Vaanya Agarwal of V D and Sumaiya Fatima of IV E participated in 'On the spot painting competition' held on 5th Dec. Sumaiya got the 2nd position.
BEE State Level Painting Competiton
Two students of the Primary Wing, Vaanya Agarwal of V D and Avneey Rawat of IV G brought laurels to the school by being selected for the final round of the State Level Painting Competition on 'Energy Conservation' organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India where more than 2.5 lakh students participated.The competition was held on 14 Nov 2019. The ministry organizes this competition to generate awareness about the environment in children. The topics given were 'Spare a Watt, Save a Lot' and 'Turn off the light, when outside it's bright.' Avneey Rawat was awarded the Consolation Prize in her category which had students from classes IV to VI. We wish both students all the best for their future endeavours.
India Art Competition
The Times NIE in association with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art held an all India Art Competition, 'Colour Splash' on 18 July 2019 at KNMA, Noida. Students from more than 100 schools across India participated in the mega event.The topics given were ' My Favourite Sport' for the junior category, ' Monsoon in my City' for the middle category and ' My Real Hero' for the senior category. Mayoor School students performed well. Ayaana Wali of V B and Sanskriti Upadhyay of VI B got Special Mention and Kavesha Dwivedi of VIII D got the 3rd position in her category. It was a praiseworthy effort as around 1500 students participated in the event.
Inter School Athletic Meet
Mayoor School, Noida won the First Overall Position at the 3rd Inter School Athletic Meet hosted by Raghav Global School in Sec 122 Noida on 20 July 2019.The young Mayoorians put in their best efforts and won convincingly.
Inter school puppet show (Lotus Valley) 2nd position 25.07.19
Kenisha Jain of III D and Sumaiya Fatima of IV E bagged the second position in 'Paper Puppet and Story Narration' inter school competition held on 25 July 2019 at Lotus Valley School, Noida as a part of ' The Fifth Dimension- A cultural Extravaganza.'They made puppets from the scratch and then narrated a story with those puppets. It was beautifully presented.
