A Celebration of Stories, Imagination, and the Joy of Reading
On April 23, 2025, Mayoor School joyously celebrated World Book Day with Grades III to V immersing themselves in the magical world of books. The campus buzzed with creativity as Grade III students designed their very own book corners—colourful, cozy nooks that reflected their love for stories. Grade IV came alive with a delightful character parade, where students dressed as their favourite book personas, breathing life into timeless tales. Grade V showcased their storytelling skills in Frame by Frame – Crafting Stories through Comics, where imagination met art in the form of vibrant, expressive comic strips. The day served as a heartfelt tribute to the written word, igniting a love for reading and creative expression in young minds. Through every activity, students were reminded that books are not just pages, but portals to wonder, wisdom, and worlds unknown. Our Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, applauded the students’ creativity and encouraged them to continue nurturing a love for books.
