To celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition, Mayoor Interact Club hosted a two-day sports extravaganza, Pratispardha on 15 and 16 May 2024 with great zeal and zest. Rtn. Nirmesh Singh, President, Rotary Club Noida City and Rtn. Amita Mohindru, President, Rotary Club Delhi City graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an inspiring speech by Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, wherein she emphasized upon the importance of sports in fostering discipline and teamwork among students. Athletes from various schools across Delhi-NCR participated in a range of exciting indoor and outdoor sports and showcased their skill, diligence and dedication. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour, along with the Principal awarded the winners with medals and trophies. In his address, the Chief Guest praised the students' outstanding performances and encouraged them to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
The event which aimed to celebrate the spirit of competition and camaraderie, witnessed a vibrant closing ceremony featuring a captivating dance performance, Khol De Par, highlighting the essence of true sportsmanship. The mega event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
