A Cultural Extravaganza of Courage & Character: Honouring the Timeless Legacy of Karna
Setting an inspiring tone for reflection and self-growth, Classes IX A & B presented a powerful morning assembly on the theme “Identity Doesn’t Define Worth”, drawing from the story of Karna from the Mahabharata. Beginning with a soulful prayer and quote, the assembly emphasised integrity, effort, and rising above one’s circumstances. A touching poem and a captivating skit-dance performance titled “The Charioteer’s Son – Karna” highlighted that true worth lies in choices and character. The assembly also acknowledged Guru Purnima and encouraged students to honour their mentors. A major highlight was the announcement of the Student Council, celebrating leadership rooted in merit and values. Newly appointed members included Head Girl Divyanshi Singh Rana and Head Boy Tejasvi Singh Walia. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. The Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, commended the theme and urged students to pursue character and dedication over titles, making the assembly a celebration of timeless virtues.
