A Day of Languages and Flavours
A vibrant Language Day celebration and a captivating German Bakery Workshop was held on 13 November 2024. The event aimed to promote linguistic diversity, cultural exchange, and culinary exploration.
Students showcased their language skills through captivating performances, speeches, and presentations in Sanskrit, German, and French languages. Sanskrit students presented mesmerizing Saraswati Vandana and Strotre chanting. French students gave marvelous musical performances, while German students highlighted the intriguing similarities between German and Sanskrit languages.
Following the language celebration, the German Bakery Workshop provided a delightful experience for our German learners. The workshop offered a brief overview of the rich history and unique techniques of German baking. Participants actively engaged in baking classic German stollen, savouring the aroma of freshly baked bread.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi reiterated that such events develop cultural understanding that inspire and enrich the learning experience of our students.
