A Symphony of Traditions: A Journey through Heritage, Harmony, and Hands-On Learning
Thirty curious minds, guided by two devoted educators, recently embarked on an inspiring educational adventure to the cultural heartland of Ajmer, visiting the iconic Mayo College. They visited Mayo College Girls School and Mayoor School, rooted in the theme “Honouring heritage, celebrating diversity, and shaping the future”, this journey blended exploration with deep learning.
Students immersed themselves in the rich legacy of these institutions, engaging in vibrant interactions, artistic expression, and skill-building experiences. At the Technical and Skill Development Centre of Mayo College, they discovered the power of practical learning—cutting metal sheets, welding, and crafting glass with awe and enthusiasm.
Students also explored new horizons through a culinary skills workshop. A session of golf at Mayo’s iconic course offered them a glimpse into the precision and poise of the sport.
Their hearts and minds were equally stirred by visits to sacred spaces—the Jain Temple, Brahma Temple, and the serene ghats of Pushkar—each unveiling the breathtaking mosaic of India’s cultural and spiritual richness.
As the students returned, they carried more than souvenirs—they brought back broadened perspectives, newly sparked passions, and a deep sense of connection to their roots. The journey became a mirror to the past and a window to their future, igniting a flame of lifelong learning and discovery.
