Booktopia 2025: Mayoor Students Lead a Celebration of Reading
We are delighted to share the success of Booktopia 2025, a dynamic Scholastic Book Fair that transformed our campus into a hub of reading and creativity.
As part of a special internship programme with Scholastic India, class XII students took the lead in planning and organising the entire event. Their enthusiastic efforts—from designing posters and bookmarks to curating reading corners and organising literary games—created a vibrant space celebrating stories and imagination. On the day of the fair, engaging activities like storytelling and themed book displays encouraged a dynamic, reader-friendly environment.
This initiative offered invaluable event planning experience and significantly promoted leadership, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for literature among our students.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi commended the event as a thoughtful step toward strengthening reading habits by meaningfully involving students in literary activities.
