Building Bridges: Young Mayoorians Explore STEM through Hands-On Engineering

STEM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through STEM, students develop key skills including problem-solving and creativity.

Our young Mayoorians of Nursery class embarked on an exciting STEM adventure by constructing their own bridges using plastic cups and rubber bands. This hands-on activity aimed to introduce our young learners to basic engineering principles in a fun and engaging way.

The bridge-building activity was not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable for the children. They eagerly experimented with different designs, learning through trial and error about the importance of balance and stability. The project also fostered teamwork, as students collaborated to solve problems and refine their structures.

Our young engineers did a fantastic job and learned valuable lessons about construction, stability, and cooperation. We look forward to more exciting STEM activities that will continue to inspire and educate our students, nurturing their curiosity and creativity.
