Building Democracy, One Classroom at a Time!
Our bright Class 4 students engaged in a creative group activity– Drafting the Classroom Constitution.
They stepped into the shoes of real lawmakers today. In groups, they brainstormed, debated, and collaborated to frame a Classroom Constitution – setting out rights, duties, and rules for a happy learning space. This activity sparked critical thinking as students questioned “What makes a rule fair?”, encouraged collaboration through group discussions, and nurtured creativity in presenting their ideas.
The young change makers discovered that building a just and caring community starts right in their classroom! With teamwork, respect, and responsibility, they framed rules to make their class a happy, safe, and fair space for everyone.
A wonderful step towards understanding rights, duties, and democracy at a young age!
