Class XI Explores Roman Society Through Role Play
Students from classes XI G & H recently conducted a compelling role play on "Controlling Workers in the Roman Empire," vividly depicting the treatment of slaves during that era.
Through this activity, students gained a deeper understanding of the hierarchical social structure, the diverse methods of labour control, and the differing perspectives of various social classes within Roman society. The role play provided an immersive way for students to grasp these complex historical concepts.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi said that engaging in historical role plays like this offers our students a unique and empathetic insight into past societies cultivating a profound understanding beyond textbooks.
