Connected by Culture, Driven by Future
The German Exchange Programme has become a cherished annual tradition at the school, embodying our vision of holistic education that connects young minds with the world beyond the classroom. Continuing this tradition, Classes X E and X I warmly welcomed the visiting German students through a special assembly themed “Connected by Culture, Driven by Future”.
A thoughtful skit and a soulful musical presentation brought the theme alive, with a memorable highlight being a breathtaking rendition of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. The student instrumentalists and vocalist brought the iconic German classic alive through an eclectic, high-energy fusion performance, weaving poignant vocals with acoustic strings, vibrant percussion, keyboards, and the soulful resonance of the saxophone to demonstrate how music truly transcends language. Stealing the spotlight of the day, the instrumental arrangement left our German guests and the entire audience completely mesmerized.
The programme also included a Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrating students’ achievements.
The assembly concluded with a powerful environmental pledge dedicated to sustainability under the 1M1B (One Million for One Billion) Youth Climate Diplomacy initiative—a movement spotlighting youth changemakers at the United Nations Summit in Geneva—followed by the National Anthem.
The morning beautifully reaffirmed the power of cultural exchange to build bridges of friendship and understanding.
