Connected by Culture, Driven by Future: A Special Assembly

Connected by Culture, Driven by Future: A Special Assembly

Classes X E and X I conducted a special assembly to welcome the visiting German exchange students, built around the theme "Connected by Culture, Driven by Future”.
The programme began with the morning prayer followed by the Thought for the Day and the latest school and world updates from the news team. Through an engaging skit, students brought the theme to life, showing that an exchange does not erase differences in language, food or custom but offers a way to cross over, listen and understand them, while an instrumental performance reminded everyone that music needs no translation and speaks to every heart. The programme was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where students were recognised for their achievements.
Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi commended the students for the thought and effort behind the assembly, calling the idea of building bridges a fitting reminder that borders are drawn on maps, but curiosity, friendship and kindness need no passport and encouraged everyone to make the most of the exchange with openness and warmth.
The assembly concluded with Mayoorians administering a pledge to safeguard environment followed by the National Anthem.
The assembly left everyone reflecting on the idea that every conversation over the coming days would be another plank in the bridge between the two cultures.
