Discover, Compare, and Master Fractions with Fraction Strips!
Grade III students explored fractions through an engaging fraction strip activity, promoting experiential learning and active participation. Each student received four strips of paper representing a whole and folded them into halves, quarters, and eighths, creating visual representations of fractions like 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8. This hands-on approach helped students understand the concept of a whole and its parts while fostering creativity.
Our Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, praised the students’ efforts and highlighted the value of practical learning in building mathematical understanding, logical thinking, and creative expression.
