Exploring Nature, Embracing Responsibility
The Junior Student Council members of Mayoor School Noida visited the City Forest and Bird Sanctuary as part of an experiential learning initiative. Surrounded by diverse flora and fauna, students explored the natural habitat and gained insights into ecological balance, environmental conservation and the significance of Insect Hotels. The interaction with the team associated with environmentalist ‘Peepal Baba’ highlighted the importance of tree plantation and safeguarding green spaces. Students also discovered the medicinal value of various plants growing in the vicinity. The enriching experience fostered greater awareness, responsibility and sensitivity towards the environment, inspiring young leaders to embrace sustainable practices.
