Future Citizens, Timeless Values: Republic Day Celebrations at Mayoor
India’s 77th Republic Day was celebrated with profound patriotic fervour, hosting a special assembly that honoured the democratic ideals of our nation. The event was graced by Retired Wing Commander Satyam Kushwaha and Ms. Shalini Khanna of the Chakra Dialogue Foundation, whose presence inspired the young audience.
The programme beautifully integrated the traditions of Basant Panchami with a soulful instrumental tribute marking 150 years of Vande Mataram. Moving presentations on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Dr B.R. Ambedkar highlighted the foundation of social justice, while a compelling musical skit and tableau brought India’s constitutional journey to life.
The Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi applauded the assembly and emphasised that true patriotism lies in internalising constitutional values. She urged students to translate these ideals into ethical action and responsible citizenship.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving students motivated to uphold the principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity.
