Gratitude in Action: Teachers' Day Celebrations at Mayoor
Students celebrated Teachers' Day with a special presentation that was both emotional and deeply moving. The programme, filled with gratitude, began with a class one student's heartfelt recital of a shlok and rest of the presentation was by middle and senior school students, conveying a profound appreciation for their mentors. The highlight was a beautifully crafted dance-drama that depicted the powerful impact teachers have on their students' lives, capturing the essence of mentorship and guidance. The instrumental and vocal performances added a layer of warmth and reverence to the proceedings, leaving everyone deeply touched.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi was visibly overwhelmed by the students' sincere emotions, she appreciated the effort of students and expressed that their performances had touched her soul. She elaborated that it is a beautiful reminder of the incredible bond we all share, and their respect is the greatest reward an educator could ask for.
Following the presentation, the teachers were treated to a special afternoon of fun, food, and camaraderie. The entire faculty and heads of school enjoyed by singing and dancing, which served as a wonderful opportunity to nurture stronger bonds and reaffirm their commitment as a cohesive team.
