Joy of Giving: 'Smile' Donation Drive
In keeping with its tradition of spreading warmth, the Interact Club of Mayoor School, Noida, organised a heartwarming donation drive titled ‘Smile’ in collaboration with Shashwat Kalyan NGO. The drive culminated on 16th October 2024, embodying the true spirit of Diwali through thoughtful acts of giving.
Mayoorians contributed generously with non-perishable food, toys, and stationery. These items were collected and distributed by the Interactors and their teacher-in-charge to children supported by the NGO at High Street Road, Gaur Sundaraya. The initiative was a powerful lesson that true happiness lies in selfless giving and connecting with others.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi applauded the Interactors' generous spirit, emphasising that such initiatives are vital for instilling empathy, compassion, and social responsibility in young learners.
