Karadi Path Workshop on Teaching English
The Karadi Path workshop, held on 30th November 2024, at Mayoor School, brought together all the teachers of the Pre-Primary and Primary School, along with the Primary School Headmistress. The session introduced innovative methods for teaching English through storytelling, theatre, and music. The spokesperson, Ms. Preetika Venkatakrishnan, highlighted the power of these creative tools in transforming language learning into an engaging and enjoyable process, fostering students' listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
The workshop emphasized the importance of using culturally relevant stories and the Indian context to make lessons more relatable for students. Practical demonstrations provided teachers with hands-on strategies to integrate these methods into their classrooms, ensuring active participation and meaningful learning.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi praised the Karadi Path team and underscored the value of such creative approaches. She encouraged teachers to adopt these techniques to inspire a love for the English language and enhance the overall learning experience at Mayoor School.
