Learning Democracy: Election Campaign Activity
A subject enrichment activity on the lesson Electoral Politics was conducted for class IX students, focussing on Election Campaigns. This team-based exercise was organised to provide a practical understanding of the electoral process.
Students formed political parties, selected party names, designed unique symbols, and prepared campaign strategies. Each group presented their ideas through slogans and speeches. This activity helped students understand the importance of elections, political parties, and ethical campaigning, making the learning process interactive and meaningful.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi applauded the students' creativity and collaborative spirit, emphasising that such practical exercises are fundamental for developing citizens who appreciate the democratic process.
