Coming back to the place that shaped the trajectory of one’s own life is a priceless and inexplicable experience.
Mayoor School, Noida organized its first ‘Alumni Meet’ to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements as the harbinger of the completion of 20 years of its inception. The event was graced by the benign presence of superannuated Senior Coordinator and founder teacher, Ms. Kanchan Ghose Chaudhuri and the heads of the school.
The celebration was attended by more than 150 alumni. It was a wonderful sight filled with nostalgia to witness their excitement and ecstasy. It was an incredible reunion of alumni coming from all over the world and various cities of India.
The meet commenced with the lighting of small lamps by all attendees followed by a warm welcome address by the Principal wherein she initiated the formation of Mayoor Alumni Association and declared its first Secretary, Mr. Ujjwal Khurana, of the 2016 batch. A mesmerising cultural programme was presented by the Performing Arts Department of the School which filled the ambience of the Amphitheatre with festive fervour. To take the ex-Mayoorians down memory lane, a quiz was conducted which was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. The celebration of coming together concluded with a sumptuous refreshment and the distribution of mementos to the alumni.
Extending her heartfelt New Year wishes to all present at the occasion, Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi thanked the ex-Mayoorians for attending the reunion and making it a huge success with the hope to meet again next year.
