Paving Way to a New Beginning

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is a success.

Mayoor School, Noida strongly believes in the adage, ‘A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.’ In light of this view, an Orientation Session was organized on 25 March 2023 for the new set of parents to familiarize them, ‘as partners in progress’ with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. Eminent career counsellor and life skills trainer, Ms. Jyotsna Bharadwaj who is the Founder Director of Envision India Eduservices graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker of the day.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp which was followed by a welcome address by the Principal wherein she introduced the new parents to the ethos and objectives of Mayoor and accentuated the combined efforts of school and parents in honing the individuality and innate talent of each child. Interspersed with scintillating cultural presentations, the event witnessed the guest speaker guiding the parents on how to handle their children by giving them an insight into children’s psychology. In the open session, she provided great perspectives to the queries and issues of the parents in an emphatic manner. Later on, the respective Heads of the Pre-primary, Primary, Middle and Senior wing highlighted the achievements of the Mayoorians and gave an overview of the various subjects, teaching methodologies and co-scholastic activities for the holistic development of the pupils.

Aimed at evolving a common teaching strategy and helping the parents in identifying suitable follow-up methods, the session ensured the building of a strong synergy between parents and mentors to reinforce the learning process of their children.
