Mayoor School, Noida, hosted Grade VI Annual Presentation, "Harmonies of the Hills," on December 9, 2023, transforming the timeless "Sound of Music" into a captivating English play.
The evening commenced with a spellbinding jugalbandi, featuring our talented vocalists, instrumentalists, and dancers during the lamp lighting ceremony. The Principal's address set the stage for the main act, a dance drama involving 280 participants. The storyline was masterfully portrayed through precise dialogue delivery, incorporating diverse dance styles like tap, ballroom, puppetry, and pantomime. The performance transported the audience to the picturesque Austrian hills, showcasing Mayoor School's commitment to holistic development.
The highlight was the seamless teamwork evident in every graceful movement, reinforcing the collaborative spirit among Mayoorians. The event was graced by Dr. Amit Kumar Thakur, Associate Director of Social Transformation and CSR at TERI, and Ms. Deepali Vasishtha, a renowned author.
