Mayoor School Hosts Transformative Third Edition of TEDxYouth Event
Mayoor School, Noida hosted the third edition of its TEDxYouth event, themed ‘From Vision to Reality’, on 26 April 2025. Rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the event brought together thought leaders and change-makers to inspire students toward building a more inclusive and sustainable future. Distinguished speakers from diverse fields addressed an enthusiastic audience comprising over 100 students and educators from across Delhi-NCR.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, who, in her address, emphasized the power of impactful voices for creation of a socially responsible world. This was followed by a captivating musical and dance performance by Mayoor’s talented students.
The talks opened with Ms. Iti Tyagi, Founder of Crafts Village, who asserted how blending indigenous crafts with commerce can empower communities and promote sustainable development. Dr. Surabhi Yadav, renowned CSR expert, highlighted the transformative role of corporate social responsibility in realizing SDG ambitions.
Dr. Neeraj A. Sharma, Honorary Diplomat of India to Republic of Palau, underscored the importance of inclusivity in achieving meaningful progress. Dr. Vanndana Vaadera, motivational speaker, advocated for conscious living and gender parity.
Social innovator Swapnil Tewari and Mayoor alumna Tanvee Maheshwari urged the audience to recognize the power of empathy, intuition, innovation, and resilience as key drivers for societal transformation.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Vice Principal, Ms. Sunita Dahiya, acknowledging the speakers, organizers, and students for making the event a resounding success.
Through TEDxYouth, Mayoor School once again reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing visionary leaders who are ready to turn their aspirations into global action.
