Young Mayoorians Celebrate Grandparents’ Day

The foundational wing of Mayoor School, Noida staged the much-awaited Grandparents’ Day, ‘Count your Blessings’ on 25 February 2023 to celebrate the beautiful bond that we share with our grandparents and display our gratitude and gratification for the innumerable blessings showered on us. The splendid spectacle witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 300 tiny tots of Nursery and Kindergarten. The occasion was graced by Mr. Vinod Kumar Pipersenia, ex-Chief Secretary to the Assam government as the distinguished Chief Guest.

In his address, the Chief Guest asserted that grandparents are the family's greatest treasure and their presence around us is a blessing. It was followed by a cultural extravaganza aimed at accentuating the theme of the event, ‘Happy to be me’. Unleashing their creativity and talent, the gifted Mayoorians showcased a mesmerizing mélange of enchanting performances whilst extending their gratefulness to their family, their school, their friends, nature, and the Almighty.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Pre-Primary Headmistress, Ms. Shalini Khanna.

Reiterating the significance of grandparents in our lives, Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi applauded the enthusiasm and exuberance of all the participants and their mentors and urged everyone to be happy and grateful for all the blessings bestowed on us.
