MAYOORIANS COMMEMORATE 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY
On 14 August 2024, Classes VII C and VII D students celebrated the 78th Independence Day with boundless enthusiasm. Mayoorians' hearts brimmed with pride and patriotism, expressing their immense love and reverence for their motherland. The young patriots enlivened the amphitheatre with a variety of performances.
The melodious singing of 'Saare Jahan Se Achha,' and ‘Main Rahu ya na Rahu Bharat ye Rehna chahiye’, accompanied by live musical instruments, drew huge applause. It was followed by a captivating dance performance showcasing India's cultural diversity. Filled with national pride, students depicted famous Indian personalities who played crucial roles in shaping the nation's destiny. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic fervour as the students pledged to uphold the integrity, diversity, and uniqueness of our country.
The Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, encouraged the zealous idealists to fulfill their duty towards their motherland by upholding the values and ideals that make India proud.
