National Conclave on BioE3: Celebrating Young Innovators
A moment of immense pride unfolded as five young innovators were honoured at the National Conclave on BioE3, organised by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, at BRIC-NABI, Mohali. The Conclave focused on “Enabling Scales for Industry-Ready Biomanufacturing.”
Paridhi Gupta, Divyanshika Parmar, Laksheeta Pahuja, Riza Aslam Raza and Tanmayram Karade were selected as Category 1 Winners for December in the D.E.S.I.G.N. for BioE3 Challenge and received Certificates of Merit for their project, “Microbial Cloud Identity Scanner.” The futuristic concept explores applications in health monitoring, diagnosis, forensic analysis and public security, and was presented through an engaging video skit.
Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi, congratulated the students and appreciated their creativity, teamwork and scientific curiosity. Held in the august presence of Dr Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), the Conclave offered an inspiring glimpse into the future of biotechnology.
Attended online by students and faculty members, the event was a celebration of curiosity, innovation and possibility reminding us that young minds, when given the opportunity, can imagine solutions that shape the future.
