Poetry is not just a play of words but a flow of emotions that touches the heart
Mayoor School, Noida, witnessed a splendid display of poetic talent on 28 January 2025, as the Hindi Department hosted an Inter-House ‘Bal Kavi Sammelan’, a poetry recitation competition dedicated to legendary Hindi poets like Mahadevi Verma, Makhanlal Chaturvedi, and Ramdhari Singh Dinkar.
The event aimed to instill a love for Hindi literature among students and enhance their oratory skills. Participants from all five houses passionately recited famous poems, bringing alive the emotions and essence of timeless literary works. The young poets captivated the audience with their expressive delivery, voice modulation, and deep understanding of the verses.
The Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi appreciated the students for making an effort to participate.
