Mayoor Hosts Prize Distribution and Senior Investiture Ceremony 2023: A Journey towards Leadership

Mayoor School, Noida held the much-awaited Prize Distribution and Senior Investiture Ceremony on August 11, 2023 to felicitate the meritorious students and induct the newly elected student council. The momentous occasion was graced by Mr. Shakti Avasthy, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police as the Chief Guest and Mr. Timothy Strack, Language Advisor PASCH, Goethe Institute as the Guest of Honour.
The event which was attended by an assemblage of dignitaries and proud parents commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. A spirit of commitment and dynamism filled the air as the ceremony was flagged off with the Principal’s address wherein she welcomed the august gathering. It was followed by an inspiring speech by the Chief Guest advising the students to inculcate the values of dedication, discipline and determination. At the outset, the academic and co-curricular achievers were conferred with awards to appreciate their extraordinary efforts in academics, art and sports which was followed by the Investiture ceremony as the bright and promising faces of the elected student council members lead by the Head Boy and Head Girl marched into the amphitheatre. The day witnessed the Chief Guest bestow deserving students with the mantle of responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence as they received their prestigious badges, and administer the oath to the newly constituted senate.
Divyam Jindal and Tanvee Maheshwari were appointed as the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively who through their speeches promised to deliver all the responsibilities entrusted to them with integrity and dedication and take the school banner towards higher echelons. The solemn ceremony, interspersed with a plethora of cultural programmes, was a proud moment for all the zealous office bearers as they embarked on a new journey towards leadership.
The Guest of Honour, in his address, congratulated the newly elected student council members and motivated them to leverage the rich legacy of Mayoor to monumental heights under their infallible leadership.
Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi congratulated the achievers and the newly invested office bearers and urged them to uphold the values of the school motto ‘Gyaan, Dhyaan, Samman’ by carrying forth their duties with dedication and diligence. The event culminated with the rendition of the National Anthem.
