Raksha Bandhan Celebration at ITBP Office
Students of Grade 5 from Mayoor School had the honour of visiting the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Office to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the valiant officers who selflessly guard our nation’s frontiers. The heart-warming ceremony began with the tying of Rakhis, symbolising deep gratitude and respect for their unwavering service. A soul-stirring spiritual discourse by the Brahma Kumaris infused the gathering with the values of peace, harmony, and brotherhood, followed by a colourful cultural programme that filled the air with joy. Sweet offerings added to the festive spirit. Principal Mrs. Alka Awasthi engaged warmly with the children, who expressed their heartfelt admiration for the soldiers. “Rakshabandhan is not just a thread, it’s a sacred bond of protection and love.”
