Shaping Tomorrow: A Journey Toward 2047
Mayoor School hosted an inspiring morning assembly presented by Classes XI E and F on the theme “My Vision of India @ 2047”, offering a vibrant Gen Z perspective on freedom, progress, and the India they aspire to see at the centenary of Independence.
The programme commenced with an insightful address, followed by a thought-provoking skit portraying students’ aspirations for India in 2047—an India driven by technological innovation, environmental sustainability, inclusivity, equality, and national unity. The presentation underscored the belief that the nation’s future will be shaped by the choices and responsibilities of its young citizens today. A captivating dance performance further celebrated the spirit of patriotism and pride in being Indian.
The assembly was also marked by warm birthday wishes for Principal Ms Alka Awasthi. The newly appointed House Captains, Prefects, Peer Educators, and Primary Wing Heads were formally inducted, followed by the felicitation of winners of various inter-school competitions in recognition of their accomplishments.
Special recognition was accorded to Bhavani Seth, who was felicitated for her achievements and contributions to the school ahead of her relocation to Germany.
Addressing the students, Principal Ms Awasthi encouraged them to dream fearlessly, reminding them that “the true strength of a nation lies in the courage of its youth to dream, believe, and take responsibility for building the India they wish to see in 2047.”
The assembly concluded on a note of pride and purpose, leaving students with a powerful reminder that India @ 2047 is not simply a vision for the future, but a responsibility that begins with the choices they make today.
