Mayoor School, Noida organised the second edition of TEDxYouth event themed ‘Where Innovation Meets Inspiration’ on 27 April 2024 hosting seven illustrious speakers from varied fields of expertise that enlightened a gathering comprising of students, educators and parents. The exhilarating event set off with a warm welcoming of the guest speakers by the Management and the Principal which was followed by the musical extravaganza, Euphoric Ensemble.
The magnificent event, which brought together speakers from diverse backgrounds, began with an edifying address by senior bureaucrat and Secretary of CBSE, Mr. Himanshu Gupta, who inspired the youth with the power of self-belief and determination while citing examples from his life. Continuing the essence of the event, social entrepreneur, Dr. Chidatmika Khatua and new-age professional, Mr. Ishaan Sukul, enunciated the need to unbox our mind and convert the impossible into the possible. Furthermore, Ms Akriti Malhotra, Chef and CEO of AKU’s Burger Co. and Ms. Myra Agarwal, a twelfth grader and founder of YTC vocalized their thoughts on how each effort counts and paves the way to bigger changes. Ms. Tarini Jain, an alumnus of Mayoor School and Dance Movement Therapist, addressed the significance of converting passion into profession. The surprise of the day, Master Ranveer Sachdeva, a child prodigy mesmerized the audience with his talk title, ‘Are you born with AI?’
Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi expressed her gratitude to all leading thinkers and visionaries for their invigorating TED talks and said that the event left each one present with intellectually and spiritually stimulated experience. The spectacular event culminated with a vote of thanks by Headmistress Ms. Sunita Dahiya.
