Through knowledge ,Skill & Valour : Mayoor MUN 2025
Mayoor School, Noida successfully hosted the 9th Edition of the Mayoor Model United Nations Conference (MUN) on 16th–17th May 2025, with over 400 delegates from reputed schools across India.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Sheetal Sharma, faculty at the Centre for European Studies, JNU. The valedictory session saw Mr. Shouvik Bhattacharjya, Associate Director at TERI, as the Chief Guest.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi welcomed all guests and delegates, highlighting the importance of collaboration, open-mindedness, and global citizenship in today’s world.
The ceremony also featured a vibrant cultural segment, showcasing a soulful instrumental performance and an energetic fusion dance, adding colour and rhythm to the formal proceedings.
Across two dynamic days, delegates engaged in stimulating debates, policy discussions, lobbying, and crisis management—demonstrating diplomacy, critical thinking, and leadership.
The event concluded with the felicitation of the Executive Board and best-performing delegates, recognized for their contributions with trophies and certificates.
Delhi Public School, Noida was awarded the Best School Delegation Trophy for their outstanding performance across committees.
This power-packed 9th edition of Mayoor MUN enriched with global perspectives and sharpened diplomatic skills, echoed the ideals of the Sustainable Development Goals, empowering youth to become global changemakers and contribute towards a more just, equitable, and peaceful world.
