Mayoor MUN2026 lly hosted the 10th edition of Mayoor MUN 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The conference witnessed over 500 delegates from more than 50 schools across the country engaging in thought-provoking deliberations across 13 committees.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Abhishek Ranjan, Joint Secretary, UN Global Compact Network India, and Dr. Vivek Virendra Singh, Chief of Health (ad interim), UNICEF India. The closing ceremony was honoured by the presence of Ms. Zafrin Chowdhury, Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships, UNICEF India, and Mr. Ratnesh Jha, Executive Director, UN Global Compact Network India. Their inspiring words, rich experience, and valuable insights motivated the young delegates to lead with empathy, responsibility, and a strong commitment towards sustainable global progress.
The conference provided a vibrant platform for young minds to deliberate on pressing global issues while strengthening essential skills of diplomacy, leadership, negotiation, and public speaking. Delegates displayed remarkable confidence, intellect, and collaborative spirit throughout the event.
The Best Delegation School Trophy was awarded to Lotus Valley International School, Noida for their outstanding performance and exceptional participation during the conference.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi appreciated the thoughtful participation of the delegates and highlighted the importance of dialogue and responsible leadership in shaping a better future.
