Voices of India, Stories of Unity – Celebrating Languages and Culture
Under the visionary leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Pragya M. Singh, Director (Academics), and Dr. (Mrs.) Sweta Singh, Joint Secretary (Academics), Bhasha Utsav 2024 was conceptualized and executed as a vibrant celebration of India’s rich linguistic and cultural diversity. The event, held at National Bal Bhawan, was graced by Sh. Rahul Singh, IAS, CBSE Chairman, along with other distinguished guests, who appreciated the efforts of participating schools.
Mayoor School proudly participated in this unique event, showcasing our students’ talent, creativity, and deep cultural appreciation. The school put up an engaging and colorful stall that highlighted the beauty of various Indian languages and traditions, reflecting the theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
A significant highlight of our participation was Storytelling, where our teacher Ms Neelam Miglani took center stage as the storyteller, regaling the audience with captivating tales that brought to life the charm of Dadi ki Kahaniyan. The storytelling session was met with immense appreciation, as it beautifully combined creativity, culture, and the timeless art of narration to entertain and inspire everyone present.
Our students also participated enthusiastically in various activities:
• Saanvi Gaur and Avni Kansal showcased their linguistic flair in Slogan Writing.
• Avneey Rawat impressed with quick thinking and confidence in the JAM (Just-A-Minute) competition.
