Mayoor School, Noida hosted the seventh edition of Mayoor Model United Nations Conference that witnessed a participation of more than 300 delegates from reputed schools across India who demonstrated their leadership and collaborative skills on the theme, 'Through Knowledge, Skill and Valour'.
Opening Ceremony 
The distinguished Chief Guest, Ms. Veronika Taranzinskaja, Project Head, PASCH, South Asia, Goethe Institute India and the illustrious Guest of Honour, Ms. Zafreen Chowdhury, Chief of Communication, UNICEF India Country Office, graced the occasion with their benign presence.
The two-day mega event commenced with an exciting opening ceremony wherein Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi extended a warm welcome to all the guests, the young delegates, and the escorting faculty and expounded the significance of such discourses which initiates open-mindedness and teamwork - the key ingredients of success. The Chief Guest applauded the commendable efforts of the Mayoorians. The Guest of Honour recommended the students to learn life skills for dealing with real-world situations.
The forum was declared open by the Secretary General, Tanvee Maheshwari, and the enthusiastic delegates of all the committees initiated healthy and productive debates on absorbing agendas. 
Closing Ceremony 
Mr. Ashok Kumar Mehta, Principal Chief Commissioner, (Retd.) GST, presided over the valedictory ceremony as the Chief Guest and in his address, stated that the foremost objective of MUNs is to become a part of a generation that envisages to transform the world.
The invigorating conference concluded with the felicitation of the Executive Board and the best delegates in all the committees. Amidst enormous cheer and applause, the Best School Delegation trophy was bagged by Ryan International School, Greater Noida.
