Championing Growth and Well-being: Mayoor shines at the National Adolescent Summit 2024
Mayoor School is proud to have actively participated as Steering Committee member in the two-day-long National Adolescent Summit 2024, organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at National Bal Bhawan, New Delhi. The summit focussed on critical themes of Life Skills, Mental Health, Safety, and Well-Being, facilitating a deeper understanding of these vital issues among adolescents.
The event was graced by distinguished CBSE dignitaries including Chairperson Mr Rahul Singh, Secretary Mr Himanshu Gupta and other high-ranking officials, creating an environment of inspiration and learning for all participants. The valedictory ceremony was memorable as it offered students the rare opportunity to interact with Senior Journalist and Padma Bhushan awardee, Mr Rajat Sharma, whose words left a lasting impact on the young minds.
A moment of immense pride for the school was Sanyukta Mukherjee’s outstanding performance in the Eloquence event, where she triumphed against stiff competition from over 100 students representing CBSE-affiliated schools both nationally and globally.
The school’s exhibit at the summit was highly appreciated for its creativity, innovation, and relevance. The dedication and hard work of our students and volunteers truly embodied the spirit of teamwork and commitment, leaving a mark on the audience and judges alike.
Principal, Ms Alka Awasthi, congratulated the team of volunteers and participants for their enthusiastic participation that proved pivotal in appreciating the significance of collective action at such summits, bringing the champions of tomorrow together.
