Class Assembly VI D and VI G- Be a Buddy, not a Bully

Kindness: An Invaluable Choice

On 7th August 2024, the students of VI-D and VI-G of Mayoor School, Noida, conducted a magnificent assembly highlighting the theme, "Be a Buddy, not a Bully."

The assembly highlighted the importance of self-confidence in addressing bullying, underscoring that kindness is a cost-free choice available to everyone. Additionally, the students’ book review of ‘The Alchemist’ reinforced the idea that pursuing one's dreams, with determination and hope, can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

Following this, there was an enactment titled "Traffic Lights," where each traffic light symbolized valuable life lessons, emphasizing the significance of self-confidence. This was followed by an exhilarating dance performance by the students, set to the delightful and heartwarming song "Count on Me." After the assembly, the children took a pledge to stand against bullying.

Praising the participants for their performance, the Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi articulated to the young Mayoorians that bullying has negative ,long lasting impacts and urged them to embrace empathy and compassion as their guiding principles.
