Energy conservation is the foundation of energy independence

On 10th July 2024, Global Energy Independence Day, our Grade 8 students embarked on a meaningful journey to advocate for energy conservation and sustainability. The peaceful march organized by the young Mayoorians sought to elevate awareness about the judicious use of energy resources. Their ingenuity was on full display as they crafted visually captivating posters, drawings, and models, showcasing innovative methods to integrate green spaces within urban environments and highlighting the vital role of renewable resources.

The event seamlessly blended education with inspiration, featuring PowerPoint presentations and engaging quizzes that reinforced the core tenets of sustainability. This immersive and enriching experience left an indelible mark on our young scholars, deepening their commitment to and responsibility for our planet.

Our esteemed Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, galvanized the students with her empowering words, urging them to acknowledge that every small step toward energy independence is impactful. She encouraged them to actively contribute to energy conservation and the adoption of renewable resources, paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future.
