Global Perspectives: Class IX German Learners Attend Journalism Workshop
German language learners participated in an enriching Journalism Workshop hosted by the Max Mueller Bhavan, Goethe-Institut, New Delhi. The session was expertly led by Mr Peter Hornung, the South Asia correspondent for ARD German Radio and TV. The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the fundamentals of media while providing a professional context to hone their German linguistic skills.
Throughout the interactive session, students explored the nuances of reportage and international broadcasting. By engaging with a seasoned journalist, the learners gained first-hand insight into the world of media, bridging the gap between classroom vocabulary and real-world application.
Principal Ms Alka Awasthi praised this international interface, and the students were lauded by her for their proactive involvement and the remarkable poise with which they navigated a professional linguistic environment.
