Honouring India's Freedom Fighters: A Role Play Event
The Social Science Department of Mayoor School, Noida, organized an Inter House Role Play competition for Class VIII on Friday, 25 October 2024, with the theme ‘The Leaders of the Freedom Struggle of India.’ Students from different houses passionately portrayed the lives and contributions of key figures in India’s fight for independence. Through engaging performances, they explored the diverse ideologies and courageous actions that shaped the nation’s freedom movement. The event not only enhanced students’ knowledge of historical leaders but also instilled a sense of respect for their sacrifices. Amber House won First Position, while Vasudha and Krishanu secured Second, and Salil and Varun tied for Third. The Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi praised the students' efforts in keeping the legacy of India’s freedom fighters alive.The event was a resounding success, applauded by both judges and spectators.
