Journey Through Books: Mayoor School’s World Book Fair Visit
Mayoor School organized an educational visit to the World Book Fair for 21 students of Classes VII and VIII, offering them an enriching learning experience.
Students explored a variety of interactive activities, book displays, and literary platforms that strengthened their reading habits and gave them the wings to understand stories in multiple ways, thereby enhancing their imagination, creativity, and interpretative skills. Exposure to diverse genres and storytelling formats helped them appreciate literature beyond textbooks.
The students enthusiastically engaged with books from national and international publishers, discovering new authors and themes while developing a deeper connection with reading. Such experiential learning nurtures curiosity and fosters a lifelong love for books.
Highlighting the importance of such educational visits, the Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi, remarked:
“Educational visits like these help students engage with literature meaningfully, broaden imagination, and develop strong comprehension skills, which are essential for their overall growth.”
The visit was both informative and inspiring, motivating students to read, imagine, and explore the world of stories with renewed enthusiasm.
