Mayoor Hosts BIS Orientation & Sustainability Competition
Mayoor School, Noida, partnered with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to host an engaging orientation session and a Poster Making & Slogan Writing Competition for classes IX to XII on 10 July 2025. The event focused on "Fostering Sustainability – Standards for a Greener Tomorrow," emphasising waste reduction, resource conservation, and eco-friendly products.
The session aimed to raise student awareness about the critical role of standards in a sustainable future. The keynote speaker, Mr. Vishvendra Tanwar delivered an insightful address, explaining how quality standards contribute to environmental sustainability. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across various grades.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi reiterated that such collaborations are crucial in empowering our students to become informed, responsible citizens committed to a sustainable future.
