Menstrual Awareness and Hygiene Workshop at Mayoor School, Noida 

On 20th September 2024, Mayoor School, Noida organized a Menstrual Awareness and Hygiene workshop for the girls of classes V and VI, led by Dr. Nikita, the school’s resident doctor. The workshop aimed to break the stigma around menstruation, with Dr. Nikita explaining the science behind it and highlighting the importance of proper hygiene. The session, attended by Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi, Vice Principal Ms. Nidhi Kapoor, and Headmistress Ms. Samira Menon, included animated visuals and an engaging Q&A session, fostering openness and comfort. Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi commended the initiative, emphasizing the need for such sessions to empower young girls with knowledge and help them embrace this natural process with confidence.
