Mystical Wonderland: A Spectacle of Enchantment and Excellence
Mayoor School, Noida, celebrated its eagerly awaited Annual Day, Mystical Wonderland, for Grades III to V on 8th February 2025. Inspired by Mary Poppins, the event showcased creativity, imagination, and excellence, with over 760 students bringing the magical world to life. The evening commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the illumination of wisdom. A mesmerizing performance by a talented trio of instrumentalists, accompanied by the choir and dancers, set the tone for an enchanting evening. Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering excellence.
The presence of Chief Guest Lt. Gen. A.K. Singh (Retd.), Guest of Honour Mrs. Smita Purushottam, and esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Timothy Strack (Goethe-Institut), Ms. Kripalinee Seeprasad (French Institute in India), and Brig. Mayank Awasthi (Retd.), added grandeur to the occasion.
The event featured Echoes of Excellence, the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements. The evening culminated in a spectacular Mary Poppins-themed musical drama, where students captivated the audience through vibrant storytelling, lively choreography, colorful costumes, and melodious songs. The magical journey of Mary Poppins and her whimsical adventures left the audience spellbound, creating memories to cherish forever.
